We encourage guests to consider carpooling, taking public transit, walking, or biking. This will help to avoid traffic, save on gas, parking fees, and reduce your carbon footprint. See below for information on specific route options.

  • Parking: Shell Energy Stadium utilizes Lots B and C on the North side of the stadium. Availability and pricing vary each game and based on the Astros schedule. Street parking is also available in the surrounding areas on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Ride Share: For a safe and secure pick-up and drop-off, set your meeting location at the corner of Hutchins St. and Walker St.
  • Rail: The METRORail drops fans off right in front of Shell Energy Stadium at the EaDo Stadium Station on the Green and Purple Lines. For schedules and maps, visit RideMETRO.org.
  • Bus: METROLift buses also service the Stadium. This option is great for guests who need ADA Accessible transportation. For schedules and maps, visit RideMETRO.org.
  • Bicycling: Bicycle racks are available at all Stadium entrances. Helmets are allowed in the stadium if they fit under the seat.

ONGOING CONSTRUCTION: Due to ongoing construction in the area, please note that several roadways will be closed during upcoming matches. Please plan your trip to the match accordingly and make sure you allow enough time for any potential detours or delays caused by these road closures. Expected closures include:

  • Capitol St. from Chartres St. to Shell Energy Stadium beginning in March.
  • St. Emanuel St. from Texas Ave. to Rusk St. beginning in March.
  • St. Emanuel St. from the St. Emanuel St. entrances of Lots B and C to Texas Ave. beginning April 14.
  • Chartres St. from Polk St. to Clay St. beginning May 10.
  • Polk St. exit from I-59/I-69 Northbound beginning May 23 to June 7.

Texas Ave. will remain operational, however, Lots B and C will not be accessible from Texas Ave. Fans will need to access the lots from Preston St.

Shell Energy Stadium is located at 2200 Texas Ave, Houston, TX 77003 between Hutchins St. and Emancipation Ave. It can be accessed via I-10, I-45, US-59 and 288. MAP IT
